|United Methodist Women Springtown FUMC
The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose
PURPOSE is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.
The Springtown chapter of UMW is active in the church and in the community. Support is given to the local food bank and to church improvements. Activities include: Wednesday night meal, Gift Basket Booth at Lord's Acre, school supplies for needy children, Bible study sessions, Christmas Angel Tree, quilts for At-Risk babies, and many other worthy efforts. It's not all work, we have lots of fun, too.
